I picked up a barbell and went under one when i was 17yrs old, last yr in high school and i feel in LOVE ever since. Am an aspiring bodybuilder/powerlifter (if u will) i train heavy with low reps usually simple because this style yields the greatest gains in size and strength. I was 130lbs when i began at 17 now iam 246 at 20yrs old, obv there is fat added along with lean muscle mass hwoever a mass gain of 112lbs yielded me a wholeeee loads of muscle. I was always a skinny kid very lean no muscle i alway had good biceps and quads and back from since i could remember; hence this is why these muscle are larger than others and respond the best in my weight training. I train unconventionally (if u will) in comparison to some bbuilders i train low volume but intense very intense and reps of 1-8 for all lifts, occasinally a rep out of 15+ reps. I am currently training with the goals of competing and enter my first bbuilding show this upcoming 2010, im really eager for the experience and keen on meeting fellow meatheads :P. I juss need to stack that size in my chest and delts and developed and condition my weak areas.

The following are lifts and bodyweight and approximate bf% for each yr end throughout my lifting career also with what I started at: I started in the gym July 2nd 2006 @ 17yrs old. Each yr end means July 2nd 07, 08, 09ALL MAXES ARE THEORETICAL USING THE CALCULATOR WHICH HOLDS FAIRLY ACCURATE AT TIMES. NOT THEORETICAL UNLESS I ACTUALLY DID IT AS A MAX.

First time workout of each lift:

Body fat: 6-7%
Bodyweight: 130lbs
Squat: 225lbsx2, max=231
Deadlift: 315lbsx1
Bench: 85lbsx4, max= 92lbs

Year 1 end (Gotta love those first yr gains..July 2nd 2007):

Body fat: 7-8%
Bodyweight: 158lbs
Squat: 315lbsx3, max=333lbs
Deadlift: 415lbsx3, max=439lbs
Bench: 195lbsx1


Year 2 end, July 2nd 2008:

Body fat: 12%
Bodyweight: 195lbs
Squat: 365lbsx1
Deadlift: 500lbsx2, max= 514lbs
Bench: 250lbsx5, max=280lbs (AMAZING YR FOR THE BENCHPRESS!)


Year 3 end, July 2nd 2009:

Body fat: 15%
Bodyweight: 230lbs
Squat: 405lbsx8, max= 500lbs
Deadlift: 500lbsx4, max= 545lbs
Bench: 260lbsx5, max= 298lbs (Bench was very unstable and didnt go too well this yr however after August it began to increase again my PR best is 8 with 265lbs to date Jan 4th 2010 and 305 for 3 as of March)

hey dude whats up been a while saw the vid great progress im actually cutting now got up to 292 so backing off down to 285 and hope to get lower tahn last time i got to 275 so i want that with out loseing to much strength and if i do so what i can gain it back just eat like crazy and lift heavy u was going to try and go back to lift heavy again but i said hey i lost 7 lbs so just try and lose more while im already loseing i dought ill lose as much as you but possible 270 and if i every get where strenght soesnt matter as much ill try and do like you but good progress keep it up

Im doing great down 50 pounds since January got 10 more to shed mayb 15 then peaking and getting ready for a contest next year in NY so its really going well just adopted a new training method of HIT its really great for burning in the muscles

i tried to put a comment down where ask me howw was doing but you tube is being gay i hate the way they set it up anyways im doing bodybuilding right now just focusing on the muscle do the work and get a pump and burn may get strong in some area may not but im just looking to lose some fat and water and im doing cardio every day i do weight i work out 5 days or 6 and take one hole day off so im doing prob the same as you except im not dieting just eating what ever usally when ido this training no need in dieting usally i eat more and still lose weight but did you check out that book they may even have it at the libary the encyclopedia of mordern bodybuilding by Arnold schwarenegger

how long did it take you to get like 250 on bench? I am at 205 max at the moment, but I really want to be around 250, any tips? and at 255 on squat. Are these good for 15 years of age?
