Steve Parker, co-CEO believes Oktoberfest is the clearest indication that SMG is a business that is naturally open and collaborative.
SMG invited over 20 valued clients, 150 media owners and creative partners from St Luke's, Publicis, Adam & Eve and Ogilvy to share in a passion for Heineken and a desire to drive innovation, creativity and work that will deliver a change in consumer behaviour, explained Parker.
Parker says that Oktoberfest is built by SMG's talent who have a breadth of services that they offer to Heineken. Oktoberfest demonstrates SMG's one team approach, where all its teams collaborate for the best of the client. "It clearly says we have talent that is behaving in a different way" exclaims Parker.
Parker reveals that he isn't allowed a favourite room, but the Heineken room was particularly interesting as it had its own beer pump!
