Love the channel. Since your looking for book recommendations, I think "The Gospel of the Toltecs" by Frank Diaz is worth a look. It is compiled from original codices and early Spanish ethnologies to give an account of the human known as Quetzal Coatl. The parallels with the universal themes of Joseph Campbell and the Christian Gospel are astounding. As a mixed blood believer in both Christ and Native American traditions, it literally changed my outlook on everything. Some of the foot notes seem to push a more Aztec interpretation of things, but that's not so bad as it's more like getting a Roman perspective on Greek literature.
