Megadeth - Mechanix.
The album:
Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! is the debut album by American heavy metal band Megadeth. It was originally released in 1985 on Combat Records. The album received positive reviews, even from mainstream music critics. The deluxe edition, completely remixed and remastered and featuring a new cover and several bonus tracks, was released by Loud Records in 2002. The album's artwork, featuring a plastic skull with tinfoil, was not intended to be the original artwork. Mustaine wanted a picture of Megadeth mascot Vic Rattlehead on the cover, however the studio lost the artwork, so they improvised the low-budget replacement. These Boots was on the original pressing of the album, but deleted from subsequent pressings due to legal issues with the song's writer, Lee Hazlewood. It was later added back onto the 2002 remaster, albeit with edit beeps everywhere a lyric change was made.
The song:
"The Mechanix" is a heavy metal song written by Dave Mustaine, founder and lead singer of Megadeth. He originally wrote the song for Metallica, but Mustaine was later kicked out of the band right before they recorded their debut album, Kill 'Em All. The other members of the band changed the lyrics and added a new bridge section and released it on the album, retitling it "The Four Horsemen". Mustaine was still given credit for the song, although Mustaine claims he asked the band not to use his material, a charge Metallica disputes. The new lyrics refer to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Mustaine formed Megadeth and released the song with its original lyrics a year later on Megadeth's debut album, Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!. The lyrics use several different automotive phrases and terms as sexual innuendo. This is the way the song was originally written (as can be heard on the early Metallica demo, No Life 'Til Leather), and lacks the bridge added to "The Four Horsemen." Megadeth's "The Mechanix" also has a much faster tempo than "The Four Horsemen." Later, after forming Megadeth, Mustaine would sometimes perform the song in concert, differentiating between "their way" and "our way" of playing the song. In the original version of the song, Mustaine screams "Fuck yeah!" at 3:07; however, on the greatest hits album, this was cut out. The different versions of the song are as follows: •The Mechanix - Metallica - No Life 'Til Leather - 1982 •The Four Horsemen - Metallica - Kill 'Em All - 1983 •Mechanix - Megadeth - Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good! - 1985 (re-released 2002) Of late, Megadeth has started playing with 'Holy Wars' but half way through that song, cutting in parts or all of 'The Mechanix' before returning to finish Holy Wars.
Mechanix
Imagine you were at my station And you brought your motor to me Your a burner yeah a real motor car Said you wanna get your order filled Made me shiver when I put it in Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you Whoever thought you'd be better At turning a screw than me I do it for my life Made my drive shaft crank Made my pistons bulge Made my ball bearing melt from the heat We were shifting hard when we took off Put tonight all four on the floor When we hit top end you know it feels to slow I'm giving you my room service And ya know it's more than enough Oh one more time ya know I'm in love

Regards,
Devin
I uploaded my collab video on Thursday but for some reason, you could hear the audio but the video was just a black screen. I removed it, but I didn't have enough memory on my computer, so I had to delete everyone's videos so I'm probably not going to be able to re-upload the video =(
Sorry!
