Hello everyone, Welcome to my Railway & Aviation channel. This channel will host all my Rail, Model Railway & Aviation videos. Please note that all my videos are my intellectual property and are copyright to me also. If any of my videos are uploaded to other accounts here or anywhere on the web without my permission, it will have consequences. Dudes, if you want to use or download one of my videos, please ask. I don't want anything other than just this question. But if you want to link to my videos using the embed codes, then please feel free to do so.
If there is any videos that you like, please feel free to comment. There are no thumbs ratings on any (or most videos) as I believe that everyone has a right to their opinion and as I know that this pointless feature can be disabled, I've done it.

General Information & FAQ:
Myself being a railway fan. There is a load of Railway and Model Railway videos on this channel as you might see but I do like other forms of Transport which is mainly Aviation and Road Vehicles as well. I also like Emergency Vehicles and Military Vehicles which is why you might have seen some video reviews of the vehicle models that I also collect. So as a result, there is a broader range of videos besides railways on this channel. I have received loads of questions from fellow YouTuber's that are interested in the same topics as myself and also some other questions as well. So I think it is time that I should compile an FAQ section.
FAQ:
Q, Do you do "Sub for Sub"?
A, No. In general I believe it is bad practice to subscribe to channels just to "make a chain" of subscriptions. Also there is a maximum limit of channels that you are allowed to subscribe to as well.
Q, I have subscribed to your channel, why haven't you subscribed to me?
A, The reason that I may not have subscribed to your channel could be for various reasons. For example. I probably haven't had the time to check your channel out yet. Some channels are set to "private" by some users which makes their channel inaccessable. But the common reasons are that my interests may differ from theirs (e.g if a channel had videos of gardening) I may not subscribe to that type of channel as gardening is not really one of my top interests to be honest :). Please respect this. Also some channels have no uploads, so I cannot watch any of your content :).
Q, I really like your videos and I want to give them a "thumbs up" but I have noticed that a lot of your videos have the ratings disabled. Why is this?
A, In May this year, a large number of my uploads were maliciously rated down and in some cases, a few videos have more "dislike" ratings than "like" ratings, I put a lot of effort into my videos and it leaves an ill-feeling when ratings are abused. So that is why I took a harsh decision to disable the video ratings indefinitely. I hope to reinstate the ratings at a later date (TBC) which will be later in the year I hope. I sincerely apologise for any inconvience. I do intend to make a "poll" video soon to see how many of my subscribers would like to see the ratings on my videos come back. So stay tuned.
Q, What scale Model Trains have you got?
A, I have three scales in my collection which is N gauge (1:148, 1:150 and 1:160), OO gauge (1:76) and HO gauge (1:87) of various model trains worldwide.
Q, How many model trains do you have in your collection?
A, It varies (regularly!). I cannot give an exact number, but its approaching 50 I would say.
Q, What power controllers do you use for your model trains?
A, As shown in some videos, I use the Hornby R965 train controller to test drive my OO and HO scale trains on the test track. My N scale Japanese Layout (aka "Sakai") uses a Gaugemaster Model D dual controller. I have a Kato controller on order for my high speed elevated loop line. I also have a ESU LokProgrammer controller interface which works with my PC, so I can control my DCC equipped locomotives with it.
Q, Would Lima, Bachmann, Brand Z etc model trains work on my Hornby layout?
A, The simple answer is yes they will as long as they are designed to work on 12 volts DC. They will work just fine and in some cases. Certain DCC locomotives will work on analogue DC layouts just as long as the decoder (e.g: a Lenz Silver) has a "passive mode" for analogue control and that it is enabled via the CV settings.
