I started the High carb raw food lifestyle on the 17th of november 2011 :)

I had tried to quit smoking many times before but i was never ready to give it up, when i did quit smoking 30th of october 2011 do to trouble breathing when i was lying on my back. I knew i was ready and it wasnt hard, still isnt hard.
I actually quit about two weeks before that but i smoked for one night on halloween so i like to start the counting then.
I experienced a massive detox from all the build up tar and toxics. I was coughing 24/7, i had alittle fever, i couldnt sleep cause i continuously woke myself up with my coughing.
I felt terrible, i went to see a doctor after three weeks and he told me i had a sinus infection, put me on penicillin. After taking it for a few days it didnt do anything i went to the hospital to see another doctor, they took x-rays and bloodwork, nothing was wrong with my lungs. It was still the same call, sinus infection. They gave me a stronger penicillin drug and some steroid nasal spray. After finishing the doze nothing changed. My coughing was still precent but alittle bit less of it.
They gave me painkillers that is supposed to slow down the coughing at night so i could sleep.

I spent 270 dollars on this illness and i didnt get anything out of spending that money, i didnt get healthy again.

The doctors told be that if this wouldnt work then i had a virus infection and my body pretty much has to take care of healing on its own.

Today when im writing this is the 23. of november 2011 and i am still coughing and have a stuffy nose.
My body just does not want to heal, so after gathering information on the High carb low fat raw vegan diet for about the last year or so i made the choice that i was ready to do this for myself.

I started the lifechange on the 17th of november 2011 and it hasnt been hard, i havent craved cooked food at all yet.
I think i am still going through some detox from that aswell and that is why im not better yet. I do feel so much more energy running through me, and i sleep better, for example if im studying late, and only sleep for about 6 hours or so then i still dont have so much trouble waking up as before.
Even when the weather outside is HORRIBLE.
I get really scared when the weather is like that and feel very small.

So this is basically why i joined this lifestyle, i want to thrive and give my body the chance to spend its energy on healing instead of my liver having to process all the meat protein and alcohol. (yeah i also gave up drinking)

So what i eat is 100% raw fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds, plus i only drink water, (was a huge pepsi max addict before) i drink about 3-4 l of water a day, if i dont, my body feels dehydrated. Thats just what works for me :D
