Police brutality is a term used to describe the excessive use of physical force, assault, verbal attacks, and threats by police officers and other law enforcement officers. .Brutality is one of several forms of police misconduct which include false arrest, intimidation, racial profiling, political repression, surveillance abuse, sexual abuse, and police corruption.

For every police crime captured on video, there are thousands, if not millions, more which are not so memorialized. Countless numbers of innocent, tax-paying citizens are assaulted, robbed, falsely arrested, and otherwise victimized by self-important, racist, inept, cowardly, political-hack cops. Many policemen do not give a rat's ass about justice; their sole concern is in massaging their unwarranted egos, blue-collar hero vanities, and god complexes.

Keep up the good work, love to see ANY one stand up against abuse of powers, we suffer badly in ireland, there is no acountability for the Gardai. i have seen so many casses of abuse,ranging from cops sitting by and letting the shit get kicked out of people, to the outright set up of a freind of mine because a Gards son was involved. most people in ireland just accept it, and assume if the cops set you up you probably deserved it.
