Bible Verses regarding Weath. Don't be Greedy. mathew 6
19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 24"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

God's people listen up!!

There are many
scammers online using the internet
steal your hard earned money. Don't fall for their
sob stories or accept or cash their counterfeit
checks/money orders. Anyone who tells you to use
wire transfer services like Western Union or Money Gram
is a scammer.

God gave us common sense for a reason.
Let's use it and put these crooks out of business. Help spread the word. Thank you.

Examples of Scams

Distant person offers a genuine-looking (but fake) cashier's check * you receive an email offering to buy your item, or rent your apartment, sight unseen. * cashier's check is offered for your sale item, as a deposit for an apartment, or for just about anything else of value. * value of cashier's check often far exceeds your item - scammer offers to "trust" you, and asks you to wire the balance via money transfer service * banks will often cash these fake checks AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE WHEN THE CHECK FAILS TO CLEAR, including criminal prosecution in some cases! * scam often involves a 3rd party (shipping agent, business associate owing buyer money, etc)

Never use Western Union or MoneyGram!!!

iHate Porn!! Pornography is degrading to women, and complicit in violence against women both in its production (where, they charge, abuse and exploitation of women performing in pornography is rampant) and in its consumption (where, they charge, pornography eroticizes the domination, humiliation, and coercion of women, and reinforces sexual and cultural attitudes that are complicit in rape and sexual harassment).

Did you know...?
Every year American consumers lose billions of dollars to
fraud. Today's popular fraud schemes range from simple
work-at-home schemes to credit card and investment scams;
from identity fraud to Internet scams; from medical "cures"
to fraudulent prizes, sweepstakes and foreign lotteries.
You or any member of your family can become a victim of
a fraud scheme. Fraudsters can approach you by email, I.M, website,
telephone or through the mail.

Protect yourself and your family by following these tips:
- Check out all offers before making a decision.
- Get all information in writing.
- Don't give money or personal information to people or
companies you don't know.
- Older Americans are particularly vulnerable to scams.
Protect your parents or older relatives by sharing this
information with them.

Remember, if it sounds too good
to be true, it probably is! Always be on guard.

There are huge pitfalls to hiring an unlicensed contractor. Usually they're not bonded or insured, and if they or their employee gets injured on the job, they could sue for medical bills.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when you are hiring a contractor: * Hire only licensed contractors, and check with your local licensing board to ensure they are licensed. * Get three references and always review past work * Get at least three different bids * Get a written contract and do not sign anything until you completely understand the terms * Don't let payments get ahead of the work. Keep a record of all payments. * Don't make a final payment until you are satisfied with the job * Don't pay cash * Keep a job file of all papers relating to your project
