How to Become a Christian, be saved, obey the gospel, and go to heaven.

Hear the Gospel.

"How shall they call on him whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14).

Believe.

"And without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Repent of past sins.

"The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent" (Acts 17:30).

Confess Jesus as Lord.

Philippians 2:11 - and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Matthew 10:32-Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Be baptized for the remission of sins.

1 Timothy 6:12 Baptism is done in the presence of several witnesses.

"And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"
(Acts 2:38).

Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Matthew 28:19 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

John 1:31 it talks about baptizing with water

Imerision

The word baptize comes from the Greek word "baptizo" and literally means, "to dip, to immerse, to plunge." In addition to the literal meaning of the word, immersion is practiced because it was the practice of the church in apostolic times. Still further, only immersion conforms to the description of baptisms as given by the apostle Paul in Romans 6:3-5 where he speaks of it as a burial and resurrection.
Matthew 3:16 - And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him;

Acts 22: 16- And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord

Live a Christian life.

"Ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9).

Matthew 10:22-And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Timothy said-For I am already on the point of being sacrificed; the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:6-7

Revelation 2:10 = "be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

We are simply a group of Christians (Acts 11:26) seeking to serve God according to His Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We are not affiliated with any denomination, but call ourselves the "church of Christ" because that is what the Bible calls the congregations of the first century (Romans 16:16).
