My name is Sarkis Ter-Minasyan and I am currently a student at The Los Angeles Film School. I first got interested in video editing back in 9th grade. My friends and I watched a lot of "And 1" and always wanted to make our own mixtape. Midway through March of 2003 my father bought me a small 2.0 megapixle digital camera. This camera had the ability to also shoot small 30 sec. video clips. The idea had struck me and I decided to make a highlight video of my school's kids playing basketball. This sparked the beginning of Blind Productions. The process took months before it was finally finished and the end result was called "RA Mixtape Vol. 1." It was a 30 min. long video of pure streetball. It contained everything., dunks, ankle breakers, embarrassing opponents and some incredible shots. When it was time to release the video at my school it had already gained the hype it needed to sell out. Within 10 min. no more copies were left for the rest of the people. As time passed one of my friends, Daniel, showed me a highlight video of one of the greatest players to play the game, Kobe Bryant. I was amazed, the effects, the attention to detail and the way the music bonded with the video was amazing. That started my interest in making videos of NBA players but paying close attention to Kobe Bryant and the greatest team ever, the Los Angeles Lakers. I began making a website and putting all my videos on it. At first the videos were not as good as they are today. Adding effects wasn't a simple task. Determined to make it good I began studying others such as LD2K and OdoM7. Like a student I began taking notes and really paying attention to the great detail that was used in making these videos. Till today I keep learning and although the loss of the old site is unfortunate, I always love being challenged with new tasks.
