fighter jet are really loud!!!! I lived in Calgary under the airport landing path.. so about every half hour there was a passenger jet landing over my head.. it became quite normal and I got use to it after a few weeks.. one day CANADIAN MILITARY planes.. they were fighter jets.. im not sure what model.. but it doesn't matter.. they must of been an old model.. and I could hear them miles before they were overhead... I had the time to get outside to see what they were...you can't miss a fighter jet!!! If it is silent.. something is up..
