Jazz Improvisation - how I do it

3,780 views 11 months ago
Welcome. This is story about how I improvise jazz. Background music: Tishomingo blues on Alto Sax - 100% improvised.
I'm playing jazz standards and some original tunes too, on Tenor, Alto and Soprano Sax and simple system clarinet.
Some of my backing tracks are also available for free download. Just Google Jamendo Bopppper Jazz Backings.
Aldophe Sax invented the saxophone, but the sax in this photo proves that the sax is a much older instrument. It's the remains of a prehistoric horn, more than 5 million years old, which I found on a beach in Fife, Scotland. It makes an incredible sound which can be heard on the May Island on a calm day.
