BattleFest is the biggest, elite, dance league for Extreme Street Dancers in America held in New York. With international exposure through BattleFest's DVD production of these events and website (battlefestleague.com), Battlefest has become one of most exciting dance competition event for extreme street dancers. BattleFest is structured in a format such as the NBA or Boxing but for dancers in an arena like atmosphere in a Ring, creating a regular 1 on 1 Battle season of 3 events, in which competitions are held bi-monthly. The top dancers later advance through to the playoffs, which is called the 'King of the Streetz' Tournament our 4th & final event, battling in bracket format until one winner is declared "The King of the Streets". It is then followed by the "BattleFest Award Show", which awards the talent and hard work that each dancer displayed during each competition.

What is Extreme Street Dancing?
An evolution of freedom in street dancing. New styles originated from many different states; the level of dance where what you do is not limited to a category or genre of dance, but the freedom to mix anything and everything together to form your individuality as a dancer. Dancers choose there own music that best fits there style and some go as far as adding costumes and theatrics to present a larger presentation.
