About Me:
Derek Leung is a sleazebucket scam artist. He makes money by "promoting" people's videos on YouTube. How does he do this? With channels that he steals from unsuspecting victims by tricking them into giving him their passwords via phishing. He also uses stolen photos of attractive young girls on his stolen accounts to increase views.
In late July, a glitch in the YouTube subscriptions lists caused certain accounts to always be listed first on every channel. Derek has been exploiting this glitch by phishing the passwords and stealing these accounts. Some of his victims are as young as 11 years old. Derek doesn't even need any skillz for his crimes; he's just another two-bit scam artist.

Here's a description from one of Derek's victims of how he phishes:
"he contacted me with a screenname that was like YouTubeCopyright or something like that and he fooled me by saying that my account will be shut down and that i should resend my password in my reply back.."
Another description from another victim:
"well to be honest he actually asked me for the password and coz im an idiot kid whos very gullable i beleived him he could fix up my acount! so in other words he tricked me!:( so plzplz help me!"

"bassicly he apeard as a youtube administraitor, on another account and bassicly said i was at risk of my account being closed, unless i filled out my email, pssword, to prove im not a spamer"
Here is a message we received from one of Derek's customers:
"Thank you soooo much!!!! i watched ur video and read ur message and i swear i had no idea what was really going on, i feel cheated and stupid because i thought i was getting real subs from ppl who were encouraged to visit my channel and were actualy watching my videos:(
this man contacted me on my channel and asked if i wanted 200 subs for a small ammount of money, i was clearly skeptical and insisted that he go away
he persisted and told me that he was a "promoter" that he was encouraging real ppl to watch my videos and view my channel
i hav terminated my business relationship with him

i would also like to add that i do hav content i think is worth watching and i didnt do it just for the number, i believed that i was actualy getting genuine views from ppl"
