My name is Anna and I'm a musician from a small town in Wisconsin, who moved to Nashville, TN to learn and grow as a writer, performer and recording artist in the fall of 2009.
In the spring of 2010 I released my debut album, "Ready To Go", which is a collection of songs about life and love. I am proud and honored to say I am endorsed by McPherson Guitars, and was awarded a full scholarship to study songwriting by the remaining members of the legendary rock band, Queen. I studied songwriting at McNally Smith College of Music for a year before moving to TN, at which time I realized learning hands-on in Music City was what I was called to do.
I write songs about life and love, friendship and the road, and I'm blessed to have my sister by my side most of the time. Julia is a classically-trained violinist and she sings incredible harmonies on my songs. My husband, David, is also a classically-trained musician who adds incredible nylon string guitar parts to our music. He doesn't always appear in the videos, but his rhythm and style add an incredible depth and interest to our acoustic sets!
Together with the other 2 members of our live band, we are almost ready to release TWO EPs we recorded at McPherson Studios here in Nashville. The songs tell stories about who I am and where I am at this point in life. Song like "We Were Wrong", "Getting Over You", and "Road" will be featured on the EPs, so please stay tuned for release dates and information!
