At the age of eleven, Alex stood in the chilled November air fascinated by the production of Collin Farrell's Pride and Glory, which had been shooting in his hometown of New York City. He was eleven years old but walked off the set of Pride and Glory in awe of his newfound Hollywood heroes, eager to follow their lead. Prior to his first run in with Hollywood, he was at ease with many aspects of writing and photography. Alex directed his first short films which earned him acclaim from many already established industry members at the age of fourteen. Building off early success the young filmmaker was accepted to the Samsung Mobile's Fresh Films production. Over 6,000 applicants applied nationwide. Alex was one of ten students accepted into the program. While in the program he has worked with casting directors from the Hollywood blockbuster, "Freaky Friday" and professional television actors from "Gilmore Girls". Alex continues to pursue his passion with the production of his first feature short silent film, entitled "Meeting Mr. Williams" all prior to reaching the age of sixteen.
