I will not dwell on difficulties, such as fundamentalist religous doctrine teachings that state that the entire universe is less than 7000 years old - to which I whole-heartedly disagree.

Please add me to the list of folks who refuse to separate "religion, aka Christianity" and "science (aka cosmology in particular) - for me it is a deal breaker, a no-brainer. Can you believe in The Saviour and Science? You Bet!
