Il lavoro di un'antiquario vivrà sempre: cambia, si evolve, perchè ci sarà sempre un mondo nuovo, diverso,
che lascia le proprie regole, convinzioni, mode e gusti, ad un'altro mezzo mondo, nuovo e diverso anch'esso, che quella memoria altrui la fa diventare propria.
Dal caos, noi antiquari, ognuno di noi, trovandoci sempre nel giusto mezzo di questi due mondi, e selezionando quegli oggetti della memoria, oltre alla necessaria operazione commerciale che ci spinge a cercare, comprare, proporre e vendere un oggetto, molte volte senza saperlo facciamo anche cultura.
E la cultura non morirà mai.


Il mio paese non può essere massacrato da camorristi o politici affamati di potere, a da affaristi senza scrupoli o da giornalisti disinformati. Il mio paese custodisce una cosa inviolabile e preziosa: la memoria.
Chi vive nel mio paese nonostante tutte le contraddizioni vive in un luogo che ha un grande significato simbolico e nessuno può impadronirsene. (Massimo Cacciari)

Ceux qui vivent dans mon pays, malgré toutes les contradictions vivent dans un endroit qui a une grande signification symbolique et ne peut impadronirsene.
