Years ago in Bexar county, San Antonio, Texas, a 17-year-old Minor Child named RUBEN M. CANTU was arrested, charged and convicted of a Capital Murder, Ruben M. Cantu received the death penalty, Based on one eye-witness who later revealed he lied under pressure from the prosecution. Ruben Cantu maintained his innocence. The appeal Judge at that time was Susan D. Reed, She ignored Ruben Cantu's innocence and upheld his death penalty.

After more public out cry but not before this young man died/murder in Huntsville Texas by lethal injection, Ruben was 25yrs old. Presently holding the position of District Attorney, of the same Bexar County Juvenile court of San Antonio, Texas, Susan D Reed placed herself in charge of investigating "herself" in the wrongful accused and conviction of Ruben 'CANTU'. Her findings of course were a complete fabricated in order to validate her part in sending this innocent man to his death. Devaluing of another's life, continues to follow Susan D Reed today.

In 2010, in Bexar County, San Antonio, Texas, There is ANOTHER CANTU CASE GONE WRONG. The DA is Susan D. Reed. The same county and juvenile court. The death of Fred Cantu Jr. {RIP Much Respect} is a tragedy, there is no
doubt about this. A man lost his life at the hands of another, his own son Nick D. Cantu shot his father in the back, one time while he laid asleep on the couch. Nick went upstairs and took off his LG white, Aztec Americana t-shirt, that had blood splatters on it. He dropped it on the master bathroom floor.

Fred made it out of the living room to the stairs in the hall way. His wife Grace, after hearing gun shots in her home, came down stairs to see what was happening. According to the police report, 911 was not immediately called. The bullet did not gone through her husbands chest. It was lodged in the center of the chest bone. EMS rushed Mr. "CANTU" to the hospital where Fred died in surgery. Before he died, Fred CANTU Jr, named his own son nick as his killer.

Nick told the police that his so called best friend Bryce Vandergrift did this, the crime scene screamed Nick. Bryce's father took out a small loan to hire an attorney, Soon the tragic crime was changing. It was changing from Nick being guilty to Bryce not only being found guilty without a reasonable doubt, but now Bryce was made out to be not only the shooter but master mind as well.

The District Attorney and other adults involved, pursued prosecuting Bryce and Nick separately. Nick was now called the Co-Defendant, both boys accepted a plea deal. Nicks lawyer was a public defender. His plea deal included that if there is ever an appeal or trial, Nick will testify against Bryce. The case was rewritten to convict Bryce for a capital murder.

Bryce's father and Nick's mother went along with the crimes and lies against Bryce. My son still believes he shot and killed a man, that is what they wanted him to believe.

ps. Bryce is a special needs child, he has a genetic brain disorder with associated conditions such as OCD, ADHD, Learning Disabilities. Before He moved to Texas {joint custody-shared rights remained} to receive promised opportunities by living with his father, and then step mom Patricia, Bryce was being treated for Bi-Polar.

Between 2007-2009 while living in Texas, Our child's full successful treatment plan was being systematically dissolved. When looking at the health care provider list after Bryce arrived into their care, David and Patricia Vandergrift choose this new psychiatrist, This professional, turned out to be the Juvenile offenders and courts head doctor for the last 11 years. What ever part Bryce may have taken part in, He is not culpable. This child, with disabilities since birth, has a well documented history, including what the adults did to his treatment plan between 2007-2009.

Patricia divorced David in 2009 but they are on friendly terms and jointly own their home in San Antonio, Texas. I divorced Bryce's father in April 1999 while we were living in Tampa, Florida. I still live in Florida and have since January 1996. Ms. D M M Pelletier {maiden}
