THE MOTIVATION & INSPIRATION...
I do a lot work with families, kids, adults... doing yoga, music, sound therapy, helping people improve their sleep, reduce their stress and improve their health/diet/lifestyle. And in my travels, I hear from thousands of people, A LOT of concerned parents, musicians, psychologists and very educated people across various industries complaining and worried about the deteriorating state of pop and certain rap/hip-pop music with it's lack of substance, depth, lyrical engagement of anything remotely relevant, emotionally and/or thought provoking, along with the hyper sexualization undertones, violence and immaturity.... not to mention it's short and long term potential emotional/intellectual effects on society and youth as a whole. These are NOT just my complaints or insights, I've been listening and processing so much feedback from so many demographics of people.

Is today pop music the best we can do for society in terms of
these specific genre's of music?
Do you think the music biz has gotten lazy and just don't care about
how what they do affects society and childhood development?
These are just some of the questions being asked.

Me personally coming from the era of Zepplin, Rush, Billy Joel, Springsteen, Sarah McLaughlin and other great artists/musicians who wrote and sang their own songs where there was clearly an amazing amount of depth and artistry beyond compare to today's climate.
Even the 80's was a heck of lot better than today. How about that saxophone solo,
from Huey Lewis and the News in "I Want a New Drug"?

This new album and project addresses many social issues and challenges of our time...
the environment, Chris Brown and other important issues.

So in the spirit of the great socially conscious folk artists ala Pete Seegar, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Neil Young and more.....

I give you
Thumbs Up High Five.....start the movement, spread the video....
