About Me:

One of the great problems of history is that the concepts of love and power have usually been contrasted as opposites so that love is identified with the resignation of power, and power with the denial of love... What is needed is a realization that power without love is reckless and abusive, and that love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.
--Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Only after the last tree has been cut down.
Only after the last river has been poisoned.
Only after the last fish has been caught.
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.
~ Cree Indian Prophecy

"If you don't love you're dead, and if you do, they'll kill you."--Herbert McCabe

"Sex is full of lies. The body tries to tell the truth, but it's usually too battered with rules to be heard. We cripple ourselves with lies. Most people have no idea of what they're missing, our society places a supreme value on control, on hiding what you feel. It mocks primitive culture and prides itself on the suppression of natural instincts and impulses." Jim Morrison

"Most people are bothered by those passages of Scripture they do not understand, but the passages that bother me are those I do understand."--Mark Twain

"The only church that illuminates is a burning church." ~ Buenaventura Durruti

"If men could only know each other, they would neither idolize nor hate" -Elbert Hubbard

"My parent, who exists in perfection, I respect you. If I wish for your perfection I must do as you do. I must provide for others and myself and forgive the faults of others as my own. And be not tempted by my own selfishness or that of others but delivered from it. For only this way may I find perfection. Amen."--105Mittens

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered." --Thomas Jefferson

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable."--JFK

"What is possible would not have been achieved if, in this world, people had not repeatedly reached for the impossible."--Max Weber

"When Injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty."--Thomas Jefferson

"The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm but because of those who look at it without doing anything." - Albert Einstein.

''Ignorance is an enemy, even to it's owner. Knowledge is a friend, even to it's hater. Ignorance hates knowledge because it's too pure. Knowledge fears ignorance because it's too sure'' ~ Sri Chinmoy

"Liberty is abridged whenever the government places itself above the law."--Timothy Ferris

"Only the educated are free."--Epictetus

"The greatest discovery of modern science was of the dimensions, not of space and time but of human ignorance."--Lewis Thomas

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."--Dr. Suess

"1984" by George Orwell but mostly non-fiction...I love to learn. I'm interested in a lot of different subjects such as language, religion, history and psychology. "I Don't Believe in Atheists" by Chris Hedges is a book I didn't expect to like but turned out to be really good. :) "The Science of Liberty" by Timothy Ferris. "Slavery by Another Name" by Douglas A. Blackmon is really informative but very sad

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge - myth is more potent than history - dreams are more powerful than facts - hope always triumphs over experience - laughter is the cure for grief - love is stronger than death.--Robert Fulghum

Many blessings and love to you, my friend,
