The main purpose of this channel is to explain in simple terms the conclusions of scientific research, and correct some of the unsourced crap we get fed on the Internet.
Most of the videos debunk creationist and religious claims. Every year the coveted "Golden Crocoduck" is awarded to the most outrageous piece of bullshit spouted in pursuit of the creationist cause, and most of the debunking videos feature Golden Crocoduck nominees. Voting is in October and is open to everyone, so join the thousands who now regularly vote for their favorite mendacious preacher. There are two main playlists. The "Made Easy" series explains how we got here, from the Big Bang to the human migration out of Africa. The Climate Change series explains how greenhouse gases work, looks at alternative theories to climate change, and debunks the huge number of urban myths that are zipping round the Internet.
UPDATE FEBRUARY 10: Anthony Watts has published my rebuttal to Christopher Monckton in full on wattsupwiththat http://wattsupwiththat.com/...
And Mr. Monckton has already responded in the comments section. I am told he is preparing a fuller response, which I look forward to rebutting in turn, with Mr. Watts's indulgence.

About Me:
POSTING: Anyone is free to post on the fora, and ALL views are welcome. You won't find that on most fundamentalist channels, but I have nothing to fear from open discussion or criticism. However, my tolerance has been abused by people whose sole object is to disrupt the channel, so reluctantly I have now had to ban three people from participating. Just so you can't say you weren't warned, here are my criteria for banning:
1) Advertisements. My channel is not a free billboard.
2) Plagiarism. If you copy and paste someone else's work, don't pretend that the writing is yours. Put it in quotation marks and give the author credit. Hard to believe, but the fundamentalists who have done this cannot understand when I explain that what they are doing is deceitful and intellectually shallow. If you understand so little, don't just cheat and copy from someone else. Learn some facts, then use your own arguments. 3) Spam. I know it's fun to disrupt the fora by copying and pasting huge chunks of text again and again. Going back over a point you made earlier is fine, but mindlessly spamming the same post repeatedly will no longer be tolerated.

watch?v=hysFK9MWxBI = I''m surprised Moncktron spends two hours on a Skype to an audience of a few dozen people but didn't want to spend that time writing a response to my criticism on WUWT. Where in this 2-hour-long video can I find this reference to my arguments?
"you just want to spout rhetoric and resort to personal attacks because you don't have the maturity to engage in a real debate" - - - Oh yes? Are these the words of the ranting right-winger who the other day threatened to hit me if I said something about his kids to his face? The would-be bully who says Climate Change Proponents are so stupid they need a punch in the head? The guy who two days ago called Proponents "latte sipiing leftwing idiots". You want to lecture me about "maturity" and "personal attacks"?
"oh btw there are homeostatic forces in the pacific which average out the oscillation idiot so warming is natural" - - - 'Average out the oscillation'... dear oh dear, the bluff of knowledgeability is painfully apparent. I am well aware of the South Pacific Oscillation, thank you, and have been for years (I very much doubt you'd heard of it before today) and yes, the El Nino/La Nina cycle constantly varies the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere. But the current spate of warming is not accounted for by that. Are you really so obtuse that you think that hasn't been taken into account by climatologists, but you have?
No, Greenthumb, I am not. I am simply pointing out that your entire case is made of unsubstantiated claims and accusations. If you can demonstrate to me that the current spate of Global Warming is not anthroprogenic in origin, I will concede to you. The problem is you don't do that, all you do is say, "So-and-so says it isn't true, therefore it isn't true", which is about as lame a way of making a case as can be.
The gig is up. It's time for us to transform our civilization or it will die, messily, noisily, and finally.
As for making scientific arguments, that's pretty much all *WE* have been making. What's your excuse for not making any, greenthumb? Oh, right, the denier agenda doesn't /have/ to make any, which is good, because it simply /cannot/.
I was wondering why I had never heard of him, being a compsci professional for 35 years. Now I know: he has NO degrees in computer science AT ALL, and doesn't even do any research in the field. He's a "private mathematical researcher" and has been for 22 years.
What a waste of a fabulous education.
PS- I know more about computer science than he'll EVER know.
