MOT, you have probably been following the markets as of late...have you notice the sudden surge in oil prices and how does oil prices goes up in which there is no demand for it? In fact there is more supply than demand! Likewise the markets is over-heated and due for a major fallback! Our dollar is weakening over the past week does that mean we are heading towards inflation? And with rising unemployment this could be a disaster to the economy!

Been tuning into your posts faithfully and in agreement with 99% of what you say, however, I think I'm a bit more left leaning than you on occasion. That or my experiences are different. On the tea party issue I attended the tea party in Las Vegas and must say I came away with the thought that I was amongst red necked racists. It was primarily (entirely) white over middle-aged guys, many waving fairly graphic racist messages towards Obama. Like him or hate him those messages move me nowhere. Anyhow, I never took the tea parties to be anything but contrived by some source other than grass roots. Wish it was otherwise. I'm glad you were able to attend one with somewhat inteligent folks. That was not my experience, however.
