Did Communist leaders in the past believe in the possiblity of a peaceful revolution ? MasterAdam100: Lenin was a little shacky on these things. Stalin even more. The thought was that control was needed before the good shit came. They never did. I don't consider the USSR to be a true Communist state. It's like saying the the "People's Republic" of China is a Republic and it's for the people just because it has ti in it;s name. Many consider a solid Socialist state to eb a pipe dream. Even more so on a Communist one. That's because when ever somone is giving the opportunity to do so, they fuck it

Communism and Socialism was made for individual liberty and a flexible economy where anybody can succeed. Just because the full dream hasn't been realized yet, doesn't mean that it never will. Sweden is considered to be one of the most Socialistic states and at the same time, the most Democratic one as well. They obviously know what they're doing.
