I heard so many stories about wolves, so many tales, legends myths and true stories, I would like to know more. Does anyone know a few stories? If so, please share them, and please tell if it's a legend, tale, myth, true story or fiction you would like to live.

RadDemon: True Story: Week in on my camping trip a bear attacked my dad's truck and we were left 3 days away from civilization out on the arctic tundra, the bear tried to attack us, but we hid in a tree, all of a sudden a wolf pack some out of the fog, because it was foggy that day, and starts attacking the bear, luckily the bear had no brains, and had rabies. Basically we were saved by the wolves, and they love us now. For some reason when we go to the zoo and next to the wolf pens...the come to us.

I would like to know your opinion on a topic someone posted a few day ago : Anti-hunting wolf lunatics would rather have sex with wolves than humans. What do you think about such an idea?

Triozex: Well, what to say. I don't like these kind of topics/posts. I think it is stupid and misguided. What do you think about it? I love wolves and I will do as much as I can to preserve them, but I am a human and to literally "have sex with wolves" I have no genetic predispositions, as I am not sexually attracted by wolves, I love them as friends, teachers and magnificent creatures which should walk among men. Wolf reproduction belongs to wolves themselves. That's all by me.

Triozex: First of all, wolves DO NOT attack humans. They build fear and shyness against humans through the centuries. It is almost their natural instinct. It is a myth, a fairytale, everything but not truth. Humans are not their prey, in fact wolves rather will rather eat rotting carcass, then a living creature. What very rarely happen and what is also their natural instinct, is when they see somehow (I guess a chance of wolf meeting a baby and even attack him is as likely as Sun will be green)

Introduce yourself please :-) Where are you from? Are there any wolves over your place? Are there any organizations or groups defending wildlife? Did you ever saw a live wolf? Every answer is appreciated :-) Wolf

Triozex: To start, I am from Czech Republic. There are several packs of wolves in my country, but only in very few spots, such as Beskydy mountains on the border with Slovakia or in Sumava forest, where are also few lynxes. Wolves were actually exterminated in 19th century. There is a organization in Beskydy and Sumava, called Duha, which established "Wolf Watch". These groups of volunteers are trying to protect wolves, lynxes and bears from illegal hunting. And I saw wolf only in captivity.

qpDragonfly: I am from Greece, and here used to be many wolves.. Unfortunately although i like wolves very very much i have never seen one, and i know almost nothing about the questions you're asking.. I used to know about bears, but i think wolves are dissapearing here too.. Thank you for the invitation, and if i can help in any way, i'd be glad to do so..
