Korean Boy Band Craze

zucchini06: Don't kill me b/c this is an honest question. What's w/ the obsession over boy bands? I became curious after reading so much about them n decided to look them up n see for myself. no offense, but they all seem the same... metrosexual pretty-boys who just prance around on stage. n almost all the comments i read are "omg, I like so n so b/c they're so hot" rarely do i see "wow, they sing/harmonize very well" or anything regarding their talent. is that what pop music's all about nowadays?

Hwaiting: Pop music isnt anything special, its all just entertainment. All boybands are are just pretty faces for girls to gush over. Some of the singers are actually good though and the songs are catchy. Nothing to be ashamed of in liking boybands every now and then.
