Aiba said that many people say "You are so like Fuji," when he auditioned for Fuji's role in Tenimyu. He thought that Fuji was a cool, collected person and he liked that characteristic best about him. However, he thought otherwise. Fuji was calm but intense and violent when provoked and Aiba felt that he was not like that. He admitted that he himself did not understand the dual personalities behind Fuji's smile and it was hard for him to put up a mysterious aura just like Fuji's.
