Good to see you online and will see you soon in person. Good to bump into you every now and then!
Randy
I first spotted your "stuff" several years ago when I was looking at making a set of Highland pipes, then I became a HAM, then I found your page again and realized you were too. Now I found your Propane Hang drum... too cool.

your instruments are marvelous. i have to say, they all impressed me and made my jaw drop. i came across your vids because i was looking inot PVC instruments. its not exactly for me. im in the martching band at my school. we never do the "normal" matching band thing. we are known in the area as the "anti-martching martching band." we play funk, play games wiht people in the stands, and we play garbage cans in our show. its almost like a tradiction. when the band started stomp had jsut come out and it was very big in our school. now, im a senior and in a posiction to shake things up a bit. i was thinking of making a PVC drum, much like your hang drum, to use wiht the band. the only problem i cant get around is...the volume. it doesnt seem to be very loud and on a football feild, wiht people talking and yelling, i dont think anyone will hear it. maybe the propane drum would work better.
do you have any ideas on how to make it louder or for a louder instrment all togeather?
