I wrote Wasn't You within the last week.

In this recording I added a bassline, a darbuka drum and a 2nd voice in the chorus.
No drum computers or synthesizers were used, all 100% handmade music.

ABOUT THE SONG:
First I wrote the music about 1 week ago, then I added some lyrics by a friend of mine (not on YouTube). The chorus lyrics ('All I need is a home..') already existed by that time (I wrote them).
A few days later I felt the verse lyrics didn't fit to the melody - so I got me some lyrics by Aleisha Russell

Here's a song by a friend of mine and me. Tom lives in the north of Germany (Bremen) and he visited me (living in the south, Heidelberg) for 3 days. Our intention was to boost our creative musical outlet.
We had a good time and I'm glad our activities resulted in very good teamwork :)

ABOUT THE SONG

Initially, Tom wrote the song (lyrics and composition). He had a different version, previously.

Now, we re-structured the composition. Kris composed the new bridge part as well as the slightly altered chorus, and added the harmony vocals.

We recorded the audio in one evening and the visuals the day after (3rd and 4th January 2oo9)

The musical production (all instruments and mixing) was done by Kris Shred.
