It's important to constantly reexamine our ideas and values. EVERY person in history who we have given the distinction of calling a philosopher has been of the mind to realize that we cannot settle on our first conclusions or ideas about what is and why it is. We must accept that we are mostly ignorant about how things are, or how they came to be. Only then can we truly allow our minds to be unveiled to other possibilities.

A person who is unmovable in their beliefs, is also a person who is a deterrent to intellectual human progression.

If your mind is made up, then knowledge becomes your barrier.
