I might be a bit ignorant considering I am only 17 years old and haven't experienced life to a point where I can truly comment on the issue of taxes and the government's attempt to distribute wealth in the forum of governmental programs such welfare but, I will try my best. Welfare, I believe should be reformed because, I don't believe the best way of helping the poor is by giving away someone else's money. The only way to truly help the poor climb up the social ladder is by encouraging business to expand and hire more individuals with higher pay, and tax cuts can help accomplish this because, business will have more money to invest. As for those who are not able to work, I believe the government does in fact have a responsibly to help care for those individuals but, to a certain extent, with some responsibility going towards the community and private charities........ In short I'm a free market, personal responsibility; the government should be as limited as possible type of character.
