What's bad about free food(Depending on where you go) and being able to eat as much as you can, and getting to see loads of dazzling fireworks go off at once?

I just don't understand. Christmas, for one, is pretty awesome because of everything it is, but what about neutral Holidays? Ones that AREN'T tide to a religion, like the 4th of July(Assuming he's american)?
