I am a former psychiatric nurse currently residing on the south coast of England, having previously lived and worked in both Australia and New Zealand.I am passionate about the natural world and my pet and animal companions.For over 40 years I have kept, trained and devoted my life to an assortment of animal species, (including, donkies, dogs, goats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, canaries etc!) but particularly the Arabian horse.I have 'started' many, many young horses and trained numerous dogs over the decades.Prior to my nurse training I worked on a stud farm, with trekking ponies in Wales, standardbred 'trotters' in Australia, have made harness and worked for several years for a leading saddlery company.My current animal friends are my Dobermann Molly and my African Grey Parrot, Ruby.I write freelance and my articles and short stories have been published by such magazines as;- 'Pony''The Native Pony' 'Pages Of Stories'(Canada) 'Spinetinglers' 'The Hertfordshire Countryside'and more..!
