I've been playing drums since December 2006, and my goal is to eventually support myself through making music. A few people I look up to are:

-Antonio Sanchez (Pat Metheny Group), for his amazing independence and improvisational skill, and dynamic range

-Keith Carlock (Wayne Krantz, Steely Dan), because of his unmatched groove and feel, and the exciting visual nature of his playing

-Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson), for his incredible control, accuracy, consistency, unique rhythmic "twists", and recording quality

In mid February 2009, I joined Boston Molasses Disaster here in the Boston area, and we're working hard, playing shows, and even appearing on the radio! Visit our site at

Hey, sorry if you're asked this a lot. What interface or mixer are you using to record your drums? I think I noticed you saying you eqed and mixed the drum tracks afterwards so I assumed you had an interface with multitrack capabilities.
