great vids man. your tests are very scientific. check mine out and tell me what else I could try. most of mine right now are flash powder because I dont want to make any more HMTD for detonators. what is less sensitive and still able to detonate?

Hi, Really like youre primer salts. I hate to be scared all the time working with acetone peroxide and HMTD. So my question is how do I prosess it? Do you got any synthesis of Ag2C2.AgNO3?

I chose Ag2C2.AgNO3 for safety reasons, I was used to make my dets with HMTD but it´s sensitivity to friction is much higher than what´s needed for a safe handle. After each batch, that never exceeds 5g (enough for 50 0,1g dets), I made new impact, friction, heat and Sun light exposure testes to see if the product is what I expect.
It is imperative to test you primaries somehow to know it they have the properties you think they did. Sometimes the safe way to handle an explosive is an incredibly danger way to hander other or even the same explosive from other batch.
For those who likes their finger it is an important TIP. NEVER THRUST YOU PRIMARIES WITHOU FURTHER TESTS.
