When one pronounces "Llan"-- you have to make that disgusting, saliva-induced blowing sound in your cheeks (ask a Welsh person to do it for you, they'll know what I'm talking about). Also, the "ch" sounds are pronounced like one is hacking-up phlegm- Haha.. No really- its a gutteral sound; And the only other cultures that pronounce the "Chhhhh" sound this way are the Germans and various Arabic countries.. Hope that helps..
