I have recently been looking at linux out of interest in something beyond window's , i did look at it a phew years ago with Freespire, and it was great, but game compatability is still not that great.
If linux invented a way to plug and play all big titled games that windows supports, id switch over in 2 seconds, my experiences with freespire were great, especially desktop editing and changing and support
Now since freespire is dead, im looking at Linux Mint or Ubuntu. but i have a phew questions and id love it if you could answer them
Im wondering what the main differences are between ubuntu and mint and if you can suggest them for wine support and easy click and run install programs, including good graphical and gaming support. or if you can suggest a distro that makes gaming emulation and support easy and not require a heavy amount of terminal knowledge
Also im wondering if you know any "amazing graphics" game's that linux supports out of the box
gr8 video for youtube nextup programm.
Wishing u all the luck
I love your channel, so I ask one thing,
I'm interested in the different desktop environments of Linux, and I was wondering if you could do a video showcasing them all, and maybe talk about them a bit and give a quick demonstration of them. Thanks!
Your channel is very nice: I like it! :)
I send you a dear greeting from Italy... :)
I make intensive use of molecular modeling and bioinformatics programs , and i only own an emachine netbook i'm looking for a distro that uses almost no CPU resourses and let me do my heavy calculations as fast as possible . I know netbooks aren't the place for these kind of things but that's what i have right now , i excute my work in fragments to avoid overwhelming my atom processor but i need a a light and powerful distro to do that , also i'm very new to linux so it would be great if its not hard to handle too .
