Preamble to the United States Constitution "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Support Republican Party & Constitutional Republic. Our country appears to be at a cross roads where we either become much more socialistic or we take our country back & get much closer to the Constitution which the USA was founded on. Also support Tea Parties as maybe a feasible viable third party can grow out of it to replace Democratic Party & because GOP also needs to shape up. Need to get business out of government & government out of business. __________________________________ Believe some people think they are Independent due to believing lies for many years about Republicans. For some issues, they are much more aligned with Dem Party. With Obama they were likely in support because they saw the Dems as opposite to what they opposed. When the Dems lost ground they can say they are an Independent to "protect credibility". Believe some are now torqued at the Dems to some degree because they did not go much further into socialism. That does not make that person an Independent. Independent is an interesting political phenomenon as believe those people truly do not know "who they are" politically & will vote more based on some issues & not global picture. Think many are closer to Libertarians because they want social issues closer to far left dem party liberal social issues but also want fiscal responsibility. How is it possible to be fiscally responsible when adding more & more social programs? The Libertarian party may be closer to Dem Party than GOP with social issues? The Libertarians concerns me with stance on our nations's security & fits closer with Dems. But there are things I like about them. Tea Party is I believe about many who do not "know who they are", torqued Republicans, Dems who do not want to go that far left & those who want a mixture of Dem party social & Republican style security & fiscal responsiblity. __________________________________ Republican Party is closer to Constitution but have issues that need fixed. Believe they "had" to move more left to remain a viable option or we may have been much more socialistic years ago. Same with mess with too much business mixed with politicians & vice versa. Once that started it just increased over the years with both sides in order to "compete". Both at fault. Could be Republicans went down that road again to be a viable choice? Think the reason too many people consider themselves to be Independent is due to confusion as to who is who as far as if "left or right" to keep at least two parties. I think confusion maybe due to Republicans over years moving more left to "compete" with Dems. Thus over time did more damage? If they had not maybe we would be much more socialistic today. No wonder why so many people do not "know who they are" when it comes to politics. If opening eyes very wide I believe would see like many others there truly is a wide gap between 2 major parties now & it is time to fold up Democratic Party as they now belong to far left liberal Socialists / Marxists / Communists / Fascists etc. __________________________________ A conundrum I have had which I believe is the root cause of why I once thought I was more Independent at one time. I believe that our creator created the earth for all to live well & our government based on. If looking at global picture, something is not right that some people or organizations / corporations have control over food, water, basic human needs in which to exert power over all of us & keep the masses poorer. What is part of nature should never have been given so much power to a few. I believe everyone should have basic needs addressed because it should be all our land & basic resources. That part I can agree with the true blue Dems about social issues, but because of how our system is setup to go much further left is very dangerous. __________________________________ There has to be a way to help everyone in this world with a free enterprise system & way our Constitution was setup. It goes back to the Hand Up approach (Benjamin Franklin) which is temporary to help all people get the aid they need but once done then it is done it is not a burden to society for long term. And revising / reforming the private sector. I could envision reforming some service type corporations where they cannot keep getting wealthier at expense of people. Every other type of business, they are free to get rich, what the market will bear. Goes back to what others have said that we all want the health care & other social issues addressed & fixed just not the socialistic way where the government gains more power & control over us. That is where we on all sides can "meet in the middle" the Constitution & not the socialist way. Even though some may argue that government should not force service type companies like utilities, food, etc. to be regulated (not takeover) more I think that is the answer as believe we all as God's creation have a right to basic human needs & not controlled by government or big business monopoly.
