16 year old Siobhan Owen was born in Wales with Welsh and Irish heritage. Classically trained, Siobhan also turns her haunting soprano voice and delicate harp playing to a repertoire of traditional Celtic songs. At a young age she has already recorded two albums, won classical and folk performer awards and has played at many major festivals and concerts. A truly enchanting act!

Siobhan started playing harp mid 2008 after being inspired by French singer/harpist Cecile Corbel who invited Siobhan to sing at one of her Adelaide Fringe Festival Shows after they met on myspace!

You definitely have the gift to touch people with your music and especially with your fantastic singing. I am a classically trained mezzo and play the harp aswell (though I'm not a professional singer). You give me so much inspiration for my own music. So thank you for sharing it. I wish you all the best for your future. Keep on with this great work. Perhaps you'll come to Germany, my home-country, one day.^^ Oh, and I was really glad to find "Der Nussbaum" on your album. Your German pronunciation was quite clear. Maybe one day you'd like to record another Schubert song than "Ave Maria". I could imagine his music would suit your voice well and he's got some wonderful songs.

I didn't even know this was actually YOU on this channel, I thought it was some fan channel ( because it always talks about you in 3rd person)
