Hi Steve just wanted to say Thank you for your tips on scroll saw setup . I bought a mid range scroll saw to get into the hobby. I brought it home took it out of the box read the directions got a piece of scrap wood and went at it . Much to my dismay the wood was flopping around everywhere , the cuts had a tone of tear out, the saw was rattling all over the place and I was about to take it back and thought I would check you tube first . I came upon your videos about setup and went back at it I tightened the blade to a high c ish note and tried again wow what a difference Now I cut out some letters and made a sign not as good as on your site but its a start thank you so much again for what you do here ..

Hi Steve
I thought it was about time that I wrenched myself off the scroll saw for a few minutes and comment on your channel.
Up until 5 weks ago I had never touched a scroll saw, then just by chance I came across your channel, I believe it was something to do with corel draw, anyway my friend I just wanted you to know that thank's to you I have found the best hobby that I have ever taken up, I bought myself an RBS Hawk at a great price and I got going with the help of some of your videos, I'm now doing portrait's and I'm really enjoying doing them, most of my work has been simple silhouette items and name plates etc.
I just want to say thank's for all the great videos and for all the help that you give out to us learners, your a credit to youtube my friend.
You take good care.
Best wishes from Pete in the UK.

Thanks so much for your SandFlee and Excalibur reviews! I have owned the larger SandFlee for many years and never knew it was adjustable. I will have to go back now and make sure the drum is at the correct level. The biggest problem I have had with mine is that it is not bolted down and the whole machine likes to slide as I push the wood across. I use it primarily to smooth the wood before I saw, since I do most of my finish sanding by hand. My husband bought me an Excalibur for Mother's Day, so your reviews have been very helpful in helping get it set up. I have a Dewalt that I absolutely love, but lately the motor has had trouble maintaining speed so I'm not sure how much longer it will run for me. I have not heard very good things about the 2nd generation Dewalts, so I wanted to go with something else. Thanks for such helpful reviews.

Steve, I only recently came across your site. The amount of effort and skill demonstrated is excellent. You have inspired me to use my scrollsaw more. I recently purchased the EX21 and am very happy with it.

Thanks for all the great ideas.
