Trying to give people of all abilities good songs to play in an easy style.
About Me:
For me it's not about being bang on to the recording. For me songs are there to be played and sung. If you can sit down with your guitar somewhere and string a few chords together then you can play, get folk singing, have a great time. It's not about how good you are, and so what, you make a mistake here and there.
I think there are a lot of reasonable standard musicans like me who just wanna play and have a laugh. Let's face it I'm never going to be Hendrix or Clapton. But what's to stop us from being able to play those songs to a level where they are just great songs to play and have fun with.
I really recommend for anyone beginning to play guitar to learn properly. There are a few really good guys doing quality lessons including scales and musical theory and lessons on youtube. You should use those resources. My only other advice is listen to music and try and play along. You will eventually be able to pick the songs out and play with them. You just gotta keep practising.
My style is unconvensional and full of bad habits, that's come from years of doin' it for myself. But if you find some of this useful and it helps your playing and repetiore then fire on in and have some fun!
