Welcome to my channel!

I've been playing the guitar since I was nine...that's quite a long time :-) and I've had some really great teachers, like Seb Jorgensen (Australia) and Carlos Bonell (at the Royal College of Music, London). I've also played in masterclasses with some of the top players (including John Williams, David Russell, and Alirio Diaz). So, I consider myself very fortunate to have had these opportunities. YT is a way for me to share my playing with other guitarists and guitar enthusiasts. It is also a way for me to keep learning - I still consider myself a student and I know that there is much room for improvement. I hope you will find something here to enjoy! Some of my videos contain audio tracks from my CD - these have much better sound quality!! - and some are recorded live. My "live" videos are recored in one take, hence the odd mistake or three! But, hey, I'm not perfect! I just love playing the guitar, especially my incredible Greg Smallman guitar and like to share my efforts. Thanks for your time and please remember.....

BTW. Last year I recorded a CD of mostly Spanish and South American music called For Love...and a small bag of diamonds. (More info - like how to buy it - can be found on my website :) Some of the pieces on that CD are posted here on YT with photos by my friend Josie Elias.

My guitar is a Greg Smallman and Sons 2007.

My very hi-tech recording equipment :) consists of a Rode Poscaster USB microphone and my trusty MacBook. Sometimes I use the video on my camera (really awful sound quality!)

My favourite guitarist is John Williams but I listen to loads of others - Pavel Steidl, Alirio Diaz, Julian Bream, Segovia, Andrew York, Erik Mongrain, and all my YT friends.
