I played and sang in various bar bands over the years until it plum wore me out and almost killed me in the process.
I get negative comments about doing karaoke and that karaoke should be banned from youtube. First, I have no problem with karaoke. It's fun to do and it's the only way many folks have to be able to sing. Second, this is not karaoke.
I create the music using MIDI. I have been doing MIDI music for many years. I lay out the bass and drum tracks and lead and rythm tracks using several MIDI editors and PC based software tools. I input notes using musical keyboards and pointing devices. On some songs, I play several tracks live using multi-track video editing. It's all me but I can't play more than one instrument at a time. Others I lay out in non real time. The end result is music I created. Sometimes I get lucky and find a MIDI sequence that was developed by someone else which I modify to meet my needs. Then I play and sing. I love this hobby and I love creating the whole package that I present.
I put the videos on youtube so my children and their children can watch them. If others like them, that's great. If you don't like them, please keep surfing...
