Sorry for the delay in reply, I missed your question on my channel. I have not had time to really tuck into the hand drill yet, but I have been practicing the hand motion you demonstrated and have been training my muscles to get used to it. I get going good for a bit and then get all crossed up lol.

Good evening Michael and everyone at MPSS.

Both I (Caleb) and Lucas would love to come down for the gathering. Sadly due to other commitments we will not be able to attend. I personally am very disappointed that I won't be able to attend and urge that you keep us in mind for any future programs or gatherings!

As well, this coming Spring, a gathering may be happening in Central Ontario, and I would love to have any of you join us during it! Subjects may include primitive and modern skills ranging from cordage, basketry, flintknapping, tracking, sheltercraft and more.

Please consider this a formal invitation to any MPSS Staff. We may be able to supply lodging for you.

By the way, amazing videos guys! Your firestarting videos are always inspirational!

looks like some pretty cool stuff! But can you say get a job or volunteer here? I'm interested because i love the out doors and have put in over 300+ hours at my local nature center and could be moving to Maine in the next 2-3 years. and if so what volunteer and or job age range to you higher?

Thank you for putting out so many good, responsible videos. I've seen too many 'survival' and 'primitive skills' videos that were ill-informed, uninformed, or dangerous to the uninitiated.
