The American Electricity industry has a turnover of $400 billion a year.
These videos are of people who are NOT customers.

Living Off-Grid means living without utility power or water and the people live in Vans, cars, boats, yurts, benders, shacks, cabins, tree-houses, Earthships, and in normal houses.

They all have in common a necessary awareness of the weather conditions - would they have enough sun on their solar panels, wind in their turbines, or rainwater running into their storage tanks?
But they also seem more free than the rest of us, less stuck inside the system.

I like to live in vans, or Yurts, or benders, or Earthships, or tree houses or canal boats, which are not connected to the grid.
I have a pioneering spirit, and The Grid seems like such an out of date idea - Totally 20th Century.
Now GE wants America to buy into the Smart Grid - probably a $1.5 trillion investment over the next ten years.
There must be a better way.

I have not got alot of money and i am really depressed at the minute i am searching for the next step in life as i dont want to be a cooperate slave and help the system of evil anymore.
