You may also wonder what a 'dit dot' is? I live at the beach and am considered a local cause I've lived here for so long. Ditdots are tourists that invade our county during the tourist season. Because I'm a local, I'm not a dit dot. Make sense?
I'm a single mom and live on the Crystal Coast of NC with my son Lars. My son Lars was born with learning disabilities. It's made my life very challenging, but its always been very rewarding. Lars has taught me a lot about life and beyond. My dad got sick back in the 90's and was diagnosed with Cancer. Then my mom got Cancer. It scared me for them but it made me determined to find other ways besides conventional methods to fight disease in our family.
I knew a long time ago that food could be nutritious and still be delicious. I've tried to give Lars every advantage by feeding him mostly nutritional foods over the years. While I was growing up, my mom and sister both struggled with their weight and I saw how unhappy they were. I never wanted to fight those same battles, so I took control of my life years ago! So can you!
