secondly, why the kirk Cameron rant? I am not a practicing christian, nor will I ever be. I consider the idea of "intelligent design" to be pseudo-science of the most disgusting degree, and believe organized religion (monotheistic today, polytheistic back in the day) to be responsible for much of the violence in the world today. Why assume I am a jesus freak?

I think you mean to use "You're" instead of "your."
And i detest that our military has become a haven for right wing religious conservatives, since this was not always the case.

First of all, I don't have an opinion either way on whether or not the homosexual influences in the Lord of the RIngs. I don't wish to imply that they are good or bad, simply that they exist. The fact that you get so up in arms about even a discussion of such themes in the film says something interesting about your feelings toward homosexuals, as you automatically assume that to say such a thing constitutes an insult toward the movie.
