It's actually really simple once someone tells you XD But every time the game runs through the main loop, you'll update an offsetX and offsetY value as such: offsetX = player.x - player.w/2 - SCREEN_WIDTH/2; offsetY = player.y - player.h/2 - SCREEN_HEIGHT/2; And for anything that scrolls (so pretty much anything besides the Heads Up Display), you'll display like this: draw_sprite( buffer, image, player.x - offsetX, player.y - offsetY );
