heey man! i checked out the movie from ghost adventures shadow hand revealed. and i have another theory that seems plausible at least.

when zack turn's frightened by the touch he felt, you can see his hand moving exactly the same as the shadowhand. so i think the shadow you see standing on the wall is not zack's shadow but his friend's shadow (cant remember his name) and i think his friend's shadow covers zack's shadow while he is turning arround. thats why you see the shadow hand cause its his own shadow hand sticking out of his friends shadow,
