Uncovers the overlooked realities of women on a global scale: mother-right, female shamans, goddess reverence; patriarchy, slavery, conquest and aboriginality. Fresh and diverse conceptions of who women can be, of men and gender borders. Overturning stereotypes of race and class, and the structures of domination that hold them up. The cultural and spiritual treasures of human heritages around the globe.
About Me:

I founded the Suppressed Histories Archives in 1970, to research global women's history, archaeology, goddess reverence, shamanic arts, indigenous orature, mother-right, and the origins of domination. I created a collection of some 15,000 slides and 100 presentations, and show them at universities, community centers, bookstores, schools, churches, prisons, festivals and conferences around North America and in Europe.

I research ancient female iconography, women shamans and other female spheres of power. I'm completing a multivolume book _Secret History of the Witches_. www.suppressedhistories.net

My paintings re-envision bold and spirited women, pagan sacraments and goddesses. See www.maxdashu.net .

The aching of the heart is the birth pang of awakening. It is
the condition of growth.
It can be the heartache of wanting to be nearer or the
mourning of loss, but it is a sign of love and therefore the
crown of glory.--Strike a Chord of Silence

Robert Graves? what does he have to do with any of this? Looks like in your opinion women just need male theorists to tell us what time it is. Nah. you're missing the point, fella.
